The next major cultural event to take place in the Republic will be the Illuminations Festival on Saturday 13th June. If last year’s inaugural event is anything to go by it is likely to be very popular.

This year the organisers have let us know that there will be a lot more market stalls as well as many more food options for people attending the festival. Main sponsor again this year is RE/MAX Advantage in Wynnum.

The Republic of Wynnum will have an information office at the market, so swing by and say hello!
